Christmas Gifts for Babies and Toddlers

Christmas Gifts for Babies and Toddlers

It’s hard to believe Christmas is next month! It seems like it was only just summer. But now that Halloween is over, Thanksgiving is on the horizon and the holidays are back! Erik and I both come from big families so we have a LOT of people to buy Christmas gifts for.

With that in mind, I always like to start my holiday shopping early to make sure I can find that special gift for everyone on our list. So starting with the littlest members of the family, I began my search for the most unique and fun gift ideas for babies and toddlers. (If you’re looking for gifts for someone a little older try this article or this article!) I hope this list of Christmas gifts help you out on your quest of making the season merry and bright!

B. Global Glowball Musical Toy

Glow Ball

I like to give gifts that are unlikely to be duplicates and I think that’s just what this toy is. This globe glowball is educational and fun. Babies and toddlers can roll it around and press the continents to hear different cultural music specific to each region. And at night it can be put back on it’s stand on “lights only” mode and used as a nightlight! What a great two for one.

Wooden Baby Sleigh

This one is just a classic. Every baby should be able to ride around in style as they experience the winter wonderland outside. This one is handcrafted from ash wood and is specifically created for babies and young children. The rail along the back keeps them steady and upright through the snow. Not to mention the adorable pictures you’ll be able to get! Classic and unique gifts like this one are sure to become wonderful memories of childhood as they grow up.

Woodland Animal Hats

Woodland Hats

So this one is actual made by me! I hope you like it. 🙂

Keep them warm and adorable as they are out playing in the snow, with one of these woodland animal hats! Available in Fox, Raccoon and Bear Cub, your little one will look right at home frolicking in the snow as if they were a baby forest animal. These hats are completely handmade using high quality yarn. They are available in sizes for newborn through child.

Musical Duck Race with Fountain Bath Toy

Bath toys are often overlooked when it comes to Christmas gifts and they are some of the best toys of all! This bath toy has a real working fountain that splashes water up around the colorful little ducks. It also plays music as well as other sound and water effects! Check out the video in the Amazon link for more details. Click on the pictures for more details about the product.

Days with Bear Book Set

Bear Books

New books are always a great gift idea as well. I’ve never met a little kid that turned down story time. These books follow Bear and his little woodland pals. I really love the sweet illustrations and simple stories inside. This set includes the books, Bear Feels Sick, Bear Feels Scared and Bear’s Loose Tooth. And if you like these there are plenty more in the Bear Books collection, even special holiday ones for Thanksgiving and Christmas! Check out the links to see the beautiful simplistic illustrations and more details.

Owl Projector and Sound Soother

Owl Projector

Another thing I try to keep in mind when shopping for Christmas gifts for little ones is that not everything has to be a toy. This plush owl is a great gift because not only does it project stars onto the walls for a cozy nightlight, it plays lullabies as well. And better yet, it turns off after 30 minutes so no need to go back and shut it off after baby has drifted off to sleep.

Parum Pum Pum Drum

Get this toy for Christmas and listen to your own little drummer boy (or girl). This drum is really nice because it also comes with lots of other instruments. And even better, the other instruments fit inside the drum when your little musician is done for the night. I also the adorable bug shapes, very cute!

Tree Top Adventure Activity Center

This activity center has everything! Any baby or toddler could spend hours exploring all the gadgets and gizmos attached to this cute tree shaped table. It also promotes motor skills as little ones reach and grasp all the beads and toys. Another thing that really attracted me to this activity center was the wonderful use of colors. The reds and greens pair so well on the wooden backdrop.

It is nice and big too! Standing at about 2 feet high, more details on its dimensions are provided here or on the picture.

Fisher Price Servin’ Up Fun Food Truck

Food Truck

This has got to be one of the cutest things I have ever seen! There’s over 20 removable pieces and a completely interactive design. Each side of the truck has fun features such as a light-up grill, steering wheel, cash register and more. Any little guy or girl would be excited to get this on Christmas.

Rocking Dragon

Rocking Dragon

Imagine this under the tree on Christmas Morning with a big bow! I think you’ve just found your baby’s new favorite toy. I love the plush design that makes it comfortable and safe as well as the whimsical design of the dragon and even the little bird perched atop his head. This duo seem like they leaped right out of a story book! Check out this link or the picture to see all the great reviews it got and more details!
