Look no further because you have just found the best steak marinade ever! My husband won’t make anything else and says it’s the best steak marinade he’s ever had in his life!
In a small mixing bowl, add the Tabasco, Worcestershire, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, red wine vinegar and olive oil. Stir the sauce mixture until all the ingredients are combined. Then add the dry mustard, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Give it another quick stir to mix the spices into the marinade. Place your steak into a large Ziploc bag, pour the marinade on top and sprinkle with the dried parsley.
Put it in the refrigerator and let it marinade for several hours so that it can really absorb the flavor. Then it’s ready to grill! This little indoor grill is perfect for cooking up steaks and veggies on week nights when you don’t feel like firing up the grill or if you live in an apartment and don’t have one. How long you should cook your steak depends on your own personal preference.
Medium-rare should have an internal temperature of 145 degrees.
Medium should have an internal temperature of 160 degrees.
Well done should have an internal temperature of 170 degrees.
You can test the internal temperature by inserting a meat thermometer in the middle of the thickest area, about two inches in. Be careful not to insert it in fat or bone (depending on the meat). A good meat thermometer to use is the OXO digital instant read thermometer.
When your steak has achieved an internal temperature to your satisfaction, transfer it to a plate and enjoy!
