Thick and Creamy Tahini Sauce

I created this tahini sauce because I wanted a delicious homemade sauce but without all the unnecessary steps and ingredients that don’t need to be there.  Store bought tahini sauce is expensive and doesn’t even taste good.

And most recipes online make creating your own sauce way more difficult than it needs to be. Here is a nice recipe that is really simple to make. It calls for average ingredients you likely have in your pantry anyway and best of all it is delicious!

All you have to do is combine toasted sesame seeds, garlic, dried parsley, cumin, salt, lemon juice, oil and water in a food processor. For this recipe, a food processor is simply a must have item! What Next?

Now that we have all the ingredients together in our food processor, we are ready to pulse them into beautiful and authentic Tahini Sauce!

Pulse for a minute or two until all the ingredients have combined into a nice, thick sauce. You can put it on gyros or dip falafel balls in it, whatever you like! This recipe yields about a 1/2 cup which is the perfect amount to have with dinner.

Also since there are no preservatives, it won’t fill a jar that will go bad before you get around to using it again. And it is so quick and easy to make that you can have a new, fresh batch whenever you want!
